- W3125394035 abstract "Sexual harassment behaviors can come in terms of visual, physical, nonverbal and verbal behavior that has great implication on the worker and the organization at large. Numerous studies indicated that sexual harassment at workplace are related to gender misperceptions. Hence the paper will bring forward data collected through questionnaires and interview using a cross sectional design from public sector workers in Malaysia. Findings indicated that there were significant gender differences exist in the choice of words used to explain the experience of sexual harassment. It was further found to be related to the attitude towards women at workplace. The results suggest that management should increase awareness towards sexual harassment through training in an effort to provide condusive workplace for their workers.
