- W3126835486 abstract "ABSTRACT In an increasingly connected world, some professions are bound to disappear, while others are emerging due to technology. The object of research was the work relations of professional players of electronic games, a new type of occupation that is not yet regulated by the Labor Law. Thus, there was a lack of specialized research on the subject and this reflects the precariousness in hiring these people. It was also found that female discrimination occurs in the field of e-Sports, a similar situation to what happens in the labor market in general. Despite being an activity related to playfulness and entertainment, it was concluded that dignity at work should be guaranteed to these professionals. It was used qualitative research, as methodology, through bibliographic analysis. Keywords: e-Sports; cyberathlete; electronic sports; Labor Law." @default.
