З допомогою цього методу миперевіряємо теорію насилля і доповнюємо її новимиаспектами (інформаційним, або медійним насиллям).(Violence reveals itself in various forms in all parts of theworld. It affects the vital interests of millions of people.While the question of the relationship between conflictand violence has come to the attention of researchers,the empirical study of structural violence remainssuperficial. In Ukraine, however, an empirical study ofthis phenomenon has not been conducted. The aim ofthe study is to identify the exemplifications of structuralviolence in Ukraine through empirical analysis of keymacroeconomic and macro-social indicators.The empirical data for the theoretical part comes fromthe academic texts on violence and original works ofJohan Galtung. The data for the empirical part includesstatistical reports and reports of both international anddomestic sociological, socio-economic and political research institutions.
