- W3129957900 abstract "Presently the high back-pressure cogeneration unit utilizing the condensing heat as the heating source has been adopted in North China to increase the heat capacity of the unit and improve the unit efficiency. Yet operation of the high back-pressure cogeneration unit often results in high power output under high heating load condition and poor peaking load performance. In this paper, coupling optimization of the high back-pressure unit and cogeneration unit is proposed to improve the total peaking load performance of the two units. The models of 350MW cogeneration unit with heating steam extraction and high back-pressure cogeneration unit are established using Ebsilon software. The coupling operation performance of the two units are optimized and analyzed, and special attention is paid to the change of peaking load performance and total economic benefit of the two units, corresponding operation compensation cost for the peaking electricity loss are also calculated. The calculation results show that the total deeper peaking load performance can be improved by 38.77 MW while the heating load remains unchanged at 600 MW for the two units, and the total operation economic benefit is reduced by 10.3 thousand Yuan/h, implying the equivalent operation compensation cost for the peaking electricity loss is 0.26~0.27 Yuan/kWh, which can be used as a reference for plant operators to make competitive bidding in the regional power ancillary service markets." @default.
