- W3130757908 abstract "SummaryGround and aim. In the comprehensive provision of qualified and specializedmedical care to wounded servicemen, concomitant diseases are often diagnosed, including dysfunction of the internal organs that occur after wounds in primary healthypatients. In order to find out the frequency, structure and characteristics of the clinicalcourse of liver diseases in sick military personnel of a surgical (wounded) andtherapeutic (without wounds) profile, this study was conducted.Materials and methods. An analysis is conducted for data from 199 patientmedical records of servicemen, who got the wound of different localization during antiterrorist operation/ Joint Forces Operation (АТО/JFO) and 294 discharge records ofservicemen who arrived from the АТО (JFO) and have been treated in the clinic ofgastroenterology of the National Military Medical Clinical Centre «Main MilitaryClinical Hospital» (NMMCC «MMCH»).Results. 34.2% servicemen, who have got a battle trauma, had a rise ofaminotransferases from the first twenty-four hours after battle trauma. Moreover, frequency of that was higher than the frequency of expression of reactive hepatitis forservicemen with the diseases of gastrointestinal tract organs (in 25%), who werepresented at the АТО/JFO zone without battle wound, and were admitted for treatmentto the clinic of gastroenterology of NMMCC «MMCH». Other diseases of the digestivetract among servicemen who had got a battle trauma were diagnosed very rarely(nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) in 1.5%, and hepatitis С (HС) in 2.5% ofpatients). Those indexes were significantly lower compared with such, obtained from theanalysis of the structure of liver diseases among servicemen, who were hospitalizedfrom the АТО/JFO zone to the clinic of gastroenterology of NMMCC «MMCH»(NAFLD in 17.2–34.5%, HС in 9.7–43.5% cases).Conclusions. Results of analysis of the structure of liver diseases in the injuredcombatants after battle trauma in the АТО/JFO zone, and servicemen who werehospitalized without any trauma to the clinic of gastroenterology suggest the need of therigorous research of the functional condition of hepatocytes in injured combatants withthe aim of early detection of reactive hepatitis and its nosotropic correction." @default.
