- W3131608611 abstract "The work is devoted to numerical calculation of thermodynamic parameters of a high-temperature plasma with a density comparable with a solid body, which based on the Thomas-Fermi model with quantum-exchange corrections and outer magnetic field’s influence considered. Solving the boundary-value problem allows to determine Thomas-Fermi potential by using the Poisson equation, thus the electronic components of thermodynamic quantities could be estimated. The corresponding quantum-exchange corrections for potential are a solution to a similar boundary-value problem. An external magnetic field’s impact on the thermodynamic properties of a high-temperature plasma is considered based on the analysis of existing works. A relatively simple but highly effective numerical method was elaborated for solving proposed boundary value problem, thus allowing calculations the thermodynamic functions of gold with high accuracy A difference scheme of the boundary problem for Thomas-Fermi potential with corrections is represented and furthermore, an optimal algorithm for numerical solving of the problem is elaborated. The paper also obtained the dependences of pressure, internal energy and entropy on temperature and density of magnetized plasma with corrections considered, as well as the diagrams of the influence of quantum-exchange corrections on determination accuracy of calculated quantities. The relevance of the presented study is determined by the development of the controlled thermonuclear fusion and thermonuclear rocket engines and researches in these fields implies the determination of the thermodynamic properties of plasma in a magnetic field." @default.
