This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation as an intervening variable on the relationship between performance appraisal systems and organizational internal communication on employee performance of the National Archives employees of the Republic of Indonesia. The sampling technique used stratified random sampling technique, and the interviewees in this study were 108 people who were interviewed. This research uses SEM-PLS technology. The results of the analysis showed that all the independent variables in this study have an influence on the dependent variable, and the performance evaluation system, work motivation, and internal organizational communication have a significant effect on employee performance. Meanwhile, work appraisal system variables and organizational internal communication that affect performance through work motivation have a mediating relationship or indirect influence." @default.
