The dispersion of CuPc was studied first of all in Tetrahydrofuran (THF) and Dimethylformamide (DMF). The functionalization of the electrodes was done by drop-casting of CuPc solution into the working electrode. Then, the electrochemical behaviour was tested with ferri/ferrocyanide redox couple in order to study the enhancement of the electrode response after modification. Also, in the presence and absence of HPO <sub xmlns:mml=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML xmlns:xlink=http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink>4</sub> <sup xmlns:mml=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML xmlns:xlink=http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink>2</sup> - the CuPc modified electrode was investigated by different electrochemical techniques: Cyclic Voltammetry (CV) and Differential Pulse Voltammetry (DPV). Results prove the strong interaction between the metallic center Cu and HPO <sub xmlns:mml=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML xmlns:xlink=http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink>4</sub> <sup xmlns:mml=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML xmlns:xlink=http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink>2</sup> -, which is translated by the augmentation of the oxidation peak of Cu <sup xmlns:mml=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML xmlns:xlink=http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink>2</sup> + in presence of HPO <sub xmlns:mml=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML xmlns:xlink=http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink>4</sub> <sup xmlns:mml=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML xmlns:xlink=http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink>2</sup> -.
