- W3136176118 abstract "Purpose: This study was conducted to extract and understand the structure and relative importance of Psychological Factors Affecting Football Performance(PFaFP). The purpose of this study goes further to compare the results with (Yun, 2004) and examine the changes on PFaFP changes over time. Methods: In this study, a total of 524 were surveyed, including 104 open-ended questionnaires, 223 EFA, 179 CFA, 18 AHP. Based on the inductive categorization, the collected data were converted into a psychological factor pool, and based on this, EFA and CFA was conducted to explore and verify psychological skills structure. Based on the derived structure, relative importance was calculated through an analytic hierarchy process. The derived structure and relative importance was compared to (Yun, 2004) to examine the changes on PFaFP over time. Results: First, PFaFP were structured into fundamental, Football intelligence, emotional control, and communication capacity. Fundamentals are composed of fighting spirit, willing, confidence, and concentration. Game intelligence are composed of learning ability, analysis, creativity, and practical intelligence. Emotion regulation are composed of anxiety control, pressure control and burden control, peer communication, communication with coach,. condition were structured as subfactors. Second, Important factors of PFaFP were practical intelligence, confidence, concentration, learning ability, anxiety control, condition, creativity, analysis, burden control, fighting spirit, communication with coach, peer communication, pressure control, willing in order. Third, concerning the structure of PFaFP, whereas Fundamental and Match intelligence remained, Motivation and Fighting spirit were deleted, while emotional control and communication capacity were further explored. Fourth, concerning the relative importance of PFaFP, Fundamental remained the same while Match intelligence obtained an increased importance. It is arguable, however, that the emergence of communication capacity and emotional intelligence, along with the increased importance of Match intelligence, may be attributable to the changes in the sociocultural circumstances and to the changes in the football environment of Korea. Conclusion: The relative importance of PFaFP and its subfactors are changing over time. Changes made in the football environment, along with social changes, are reflected on the field and are specified into performance-effecting factors. It is looked forward that this study expands the discussions on performance-effecting factors into their temporal aspects, which were largely overlooked due to the focus on the content-related aspects." @default.
