Urgency of research is determined by methodological, technological and organizational improvement of approaches to analysis and evaluation of economic activity under conditions of growing requirements for water conservation and land management in reclaimed agricultural landscapes. To improve information support and the decision making when determining the list and amount of preventive measures to reduce unproductive losses of irrigation water a computer technique on planning of reclamation projects’ operation has been developed. Innovations in the technology are focused on the models having informational and technological support of decision making, which ensure their high quality at the stage of adoption. The structure of the system and the functional blocks of the technology are characterized in the paper. The system of indicators and their criteria values to include reclamation projects in the list of priority sites which need current or capital repair, reconstruction on the base of deviations of actual water supply(drainage flow) and irrigation water efficiency from the standard values has been proposed. The model and algorithm on planning and optimization of water management system operation are presented. Pilot tests of software for the objects of the South (SFD) and the North Caucasus Federal district have been done in the public corporation “Sevkavgiprovodhoz”. The application of computer technology increases the efficiency management decisions making on reclamation systems operation and their effects on natural and socio economic processes as the result of agricultural production due to quantitative methods of analysis, corresponding to modern requirements of the theory and practice of management." @default.
