If there is the imbalance of big enough frequency, for example its trip IBT, it suddenly will cause the system frequency dropped quickly. Reduction in the frequency could reach a critical point, beyond the permitted tolerance limits. If the decrease in the critical frequency is not immediately anticipated, it will cause generating units at these subsystems come apart (trip) of the system, and it is the worst effect is a total load outage (blackout). In this aim of study is to determine the performance of the scheme UFLS stages that is part of the defense scheme in the subsystem 1,3 Gandul - 2 Kembangan - Muara Karang. At the end of this project simulated load shedding scheme in the subsystem Gandul 1,3 - 2 Kembangan - Muara Karang 150 KV of 7 stages with a range of work areas of Under Frequency Relay (UFR) between 49,0 Hz to 48,4 Hz with each phase difference of 0,1 Hz and modeling of load shedding. Obtained from the simulation conditions during the best scenario when removing the burden of 527,150 MW with a frequency of 50,018 Hz steady state and at the evening peak load scenarios when removing the burden of 404,316 MW frequency steady state 49,719 Hz" @default.
