The silica fiber SMF-28 has been used to form the MBR by a technique called “soften-and-compress”. The MBR-PVA coupled with tapered microfiber 2 μ m diameter and manage to have Q-factor > 10 5 respectively. The sodium hypochlorite with concentrations range from 1% pmm to 6% pmm, which is then used with three MBR-PVA sizes as sodium hypochlorite sensor for study purposes. The performance of the MBR-PVA defined as excellent, with sensitivity analyzed through transmitted power and wavelength shifting. The linearity for all MBR-PVA size can have >98%, which is defined as good performance after all.
