• W3141929085 abstract "This paper deals with four new species of Tetrigoidea from Tianlin County(24°14′-24°24′N,106°30′-106°40′E),Guangxi, South China. The type specimens are kept in the Research Institute of the Entomology,Biology Museum, Zhongshan University, Guangzhou. Measurements in mm.1 Deltonotus guangxiensis sp. nov. (Figs.1-3) This new species is similar to Deltonotus hainanensis Zheng et Liang, but differs in: 1) larger body; 2) width of vertex 2 times the width of an eye; 3) vertex with distinct medial and lateral carinae; 4) frontal costa between antennae slightly forked, its width slightly wider than width of scape of antennae; 5) length of hind femur 3 times its width. Length of body: ♂9.5-11.4, ♀15.5-17.0; length of pronotum: ♂8.5-10.0, ♀11.0-12.5; length of hind femur: ♂6.7-7.8, ♀8.5-9.4. Holotype ♀, Guangxi,Tianlin (1?400?m) 29 May 2002, by JIANG Guo-Gang. Paratypes 5♂♂, 4♀♀, Tianlin ( 1?400- 1?800?m), 5 June-15 Aug. 2003, by JIANG Guo-Fang.2 Pseudupitettix linaoshanensis sp. nov. (Figs.4-6) This new species is allied to Pseudepitettix yunnanensis Zheng and P. guangxiensis Zheng et Jiang. It differs from the former in: 1) width of vertex 2 times the width of an eye; 2) in profile, frontal costa and vertex forming an obtuse rounded shape; 3) top of hind process of pronotum concave. It differs from the latter in: 1) upper margin of pronotum arcuate in profile; 2) pronotum with abbreviated carinae. Length of body: ♂8.3,♀8.5-9.7;length of pronotum: ♂7.2,♀6.5-7.3;length of hind femur: ♂5.0,♀4.9-5.0. Holotype ♂,Guangxi: Tianlin (1?400?m),3 Apr. 2003, by LI Jian-Wen. (Figs.7-9) This new species is allied to Xistra laticora Zheng and X. longzhouensis Zheng et Jiang. It differs from the former in:1) antenna located a little lower than the lower margin of eyes; 2) occeli located in the lower third between the eyes; 3)upper and lower margins of anterior and middle femora straight. It differs from the latter in:1) width of vertex equal to the width of an eye; 2) wings reaching beyond the top of pronotum. It differs from both in:1) pronotum without a pair of abbreviated carinae; 2) pulvilli of the first segment of the posterior tarsi are not equal. ♀ Length of body 8.2-8.8;length of pronotum 11.7-12.9;width of humerus 2.7-2.8; length of hind femur 5.3-5.6. Male unknown. Holotype ♀, paratypes 6♀♀,Guangxi: Tianlin (1?400?m),29 May 2002, by JIANG Guo-Fang.4 Macromotettix tianlinensis sp. nov. (Figs.10-12) This new species is similar to Macromotettix luoxiaoshanensis Zheng et Gu, but differs in: 1) oceli located under the middle of eyes; 2) junction of the humero-apical carinae with the lower lateral margin of the pronotal extension positioned in the base of supra-anal plate at the base of ovipositor, the distance of both lines wider; 3) width of anterior and middle femur 1.4 times the width of the distinct part of elytra. ♀ Length of body 8.1-9.9; length of pronotum 6.8-7.2;width of humerus 2.4-2.5; length of hind femur 5.2-5.5.
