In this paper. we propose a new widehand DOA eirimation method based on beam-space processing. The proposed method inherits the advantages of beam-space-based methods. Funhermore. it reduces the hiasesrimateandcnhancerUleresolutianofestimatewithou1 increasing numberofmy elements. We first extend the spatially interpolated heamformer (SIB) proposed in [I I] IO wideband beamformer and then developing a widehand EOA estimation mcthcd based on this wideband beamformer. In [l I], the SIB is ahic to prescribe a narrow main beamwidth and iow sidelobe level (SLL) by using a spatial interpolation proccss that Consists of two cwadcd spathi filters.
