• W3142091284 abstract "1. 연구의 필요성 최근 암은 조기진단과 치료방법의 발전으로 인해 완치율과 생존율이 점차 높아지고 있으며, 암 생존자의 수도 실질적으로 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 보건복지가족부 중앙암등록본부가 국 가암등록사업을 통해 전체 국민을 대상으로 조사한 2003-2005 년 국가 암발생률 및 1993-2005년 암발생자의 5년 생존율을 발표한 자료에 의하면 2003-2005년 연평균 암발생건수는 13 만 2,941건(남자: 7만 2,952건, 여자: 5만 9,989건)으로 19992002년에 비해 23% 증가하였으며, 2001-2005년 사이 발생한 암 환자의 5년 생존율은 52.2%로 1993-1995년의 41.2%에 비 해 11% 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 이는 1999년부터 도입된 암 조기검진사업을 비롯하여 국가 암관리사업의 지원 강화 및 국 내 암 진단과 치료 기술의 향상에 따른 성과로 여겨지며, 이에 따라 근래에는 암을 불치병이 아니라 만성 질환으로 간주하고 있는 실정이다. 이처럼 암 환자의 절반이 5년 이상의 생존율을 보이는 것으로 나타난 반면, 이들 대부분은 질병으로 인한 신체적 증상과 정서 적 혼란뿐 아니라 치료과정 중의 합병증과 부작용을 감당해야 하는 암과의 장기적인 투쟁을 벌이게 된다. 암에 대한 치료방법 중 항암화학요법은 외과적 수술이나 방사선요법 후의 보조요법 이나 진행된 시기의 암에 대한 단독요법으로 시행되며 암환자 의 생존율을 증가시키는데 크게 기여한 반면, 오심과 구토를 비 주요어 : 이완요법, 오심, 피로, 불안, 우울 *본 논문은 2009년도 조선간호대학 학술연구비의 지원을 받아 연구되었음. Methods: This study was a quasi-experimental research using non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design. Data were collected from outpatients in a university hospital from April to August, 2009. There were 74 participants, 39 in the experimental group and 35 in the control group. The experimental group was given daily the progressive muscle relaxation for 20 min during three weeks. The structured questionnaire was used to measure nausea, vomiting, fatigue, anxiety, and depression. Data were analyzed using the SPSS/ WIN 12.0 program, c-test, Fisher’s exact test, t-test and ANCOVA were conducted to examine the homogeneity and the research hypotheses. Results: There were statistically significant decreases in anxiety and depression in the experimental group compared to the control group. However, there were no significant differences in nausea, vomiting, and fatigue between the groups. Conclusion: In this study, progressive muscle relaxation was effective in alleviating anxiety and depression of cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. Therefore, progressive muscle relaxation can be usefully utilized as a nursing intervention that enhances psychological function of cancer patients." @default.
