- W3144035314 abstract "This paper compares two tools for noise reduction on biosignals: Wavelet thresholding and Discrete Mollification. Both have previously been used for solving problems with high sensitive to noise presence, especially in the regularization of Ill-Posed Problems. The aim is to find which one presents more advantages in order to be used with biosignals contaminated with non-white noise. Several thresholding techniques were implemented: hard and soft (globally and level by level) and adaptive estimation (Stein’s unbiased risk estimator, SURE). As test data electrocardiographycal (ECG) were used and voice signals and typical non-white noise for each kind of signal are considered." @default.
