- W3144275984 abstract "This Abstract dealt with the matter of Studying, education and intellectual life in Almadinah Almunawwarah during the period of King Abdul-Aziz between 1344 and 1373 A.H, 1925 and 1953 AD. In fact, this matter did not take its right nor searched deeply. Therefore, the study followed the historical, scientific and descriptive method that depended on collecting the scientific material from multiple sources along with authorizing and analyzing the events. This study demonstrated the intention of the king to improve the educational and intellectual level of the society in Almadinah Almunawwarah. The study focused on the stages of all types of the national education and its development. Besides, the study revealed the role of the country in developing the governmental education whether for males or females and the reaction of the society in Almadinah Almunawwarah regarding educating the females. In addition, the study disclosed the intellectual and cultural life and the role of the intellectuals in spreading the culture inside and outside Almadinah Almunawwarah. In the beginning it showed the developmental levels of the education and the intellectual life before the rule of Al Saud and their effects on the society out of demonstrating many points. These points represented in many things such as the seminars inside the Mosque of the Prophet, Qur'anic schools and the national and governmental education and there effects on the intellectual and cultural life. The study clarified the limited impacts, of the period just before King Abdul-Aziz, on the culture and education. Moreover, it focused on the interest of King Abdul-Aziz in all types of education even the national education and the role of Qur'anic schools and the national and charity schools in improving the level of the national education in Almadinah Almunawwarah. It is worth mentioning that Almadinah Almunawwarah educated its students how to read, write and memorize the Qur'an. As well, the study demonstrated the emergence and development of the governmental education in Almadinah Almunawwarah and disclosed the efforts exerted by King Abdul-Aziz in supporting the educational process. In short, the study clarified that the education development resulted in development of the intellectual and cultural life and the role of intellectuals and cultured persons in this development. At last, the study found that King Abdul-Aziz paid great intention to Almadinah Almunawwarah for its rank for Muslims and because it is the place of Migration of the Prophet (PBUH) and the first capital of Islam. Therefore, Almadinah Almunawwarah enjoyed the interest of King Abdul-Aziz and all other rulers of Muslims along ages. The hope of King Abdul-Aziz to improve the educational and intellectual level in the society of Almadinah Almunawwarah consolidated the basic rules of the educational organizations and affirmed its continuity and development. All of this affected greatly on the society of Almadinah Almunawwarah and led to rapid and clear development that promoted the educational and cultural level in it." @default.
