- W3147450967 abstract "The most common model of a circle with distributed parameters is the long line model. A number of solutions of this model define different types of wave process of propagation of electromagnetic oscillations in the case when the length of the conductor exceeds the length of the electromagnetic wave. Such processes are the modes of traveling, standing and reflected waves. Knowledge of the above processes has led to widespread use of long low-loss lines for high-frequency oscillations. However, the classical model of the telegraph line does not exhaust all the possibilities of intelligent control of the characteristics of the wave process. Therefore, there is an urgent task to improve this model. We have proposed a method of improving the model of a one-dimensional telegraph line which consists in modifying the differential equation which describes the classical model by adding derivatives in time and coordinate of wave propagation. The obtained solutions of the modified equation approximately describe the process of propagation of a high-frequency electromagnetic wave along a long line with distributed parameters where external sources of currents and voltages operate." @default.
