- W3147462355 abstract "The article discusses certain types of flow, taking into account the dynamic characteristics of the elements of new floating structures of the protected equipment of pumping stations from the inflow of the fin to the working bodies of the pumps and preventing drops in water levels at trash holding structures. Combined floating structures have hydrofoils. With a decrease in the water level in the downstream, the geodetic lifting height and the suction height increase, the solid particles in the water flow lead to intensive wear of the pump elements, as a result of which the supply, head and efficiency of pumping units decrease. An analysis of the use of floating spreading elements in the form of a jam installed in the front chamber of the first pumping station and at the water intake of the Karshi cascade is presented. In the laboratory, a spatial model was built that can simulate various options for floating spreading devices and is suitable for checking theoretical positions. The results of laboratory studies are presented by approximating equations: at water intake and plotted the curves of the dependence of the angle of setting of the stagnation to the cross-section and the flow rate. Experimental determination of the change in the velocity profile in the boundary layer of the wing with a change in the flow velocity is of priority importance for determining the characteristics of self-control of such structures, which is important for improving their operation.
