• W3148268503 abstract "본고는 1939년 8월, 다솔사(경남, 사천)에서 1주일간 열린 특별 법회에 대한 성격을 종합적으로 다룬 글이다. 그 법회에 참가한 한일 양국의 승려들은 불교사상에 대한 토론을 치열하게 전개하였다. 식민지 통치가 구현되던 시절, 식민지국과 피식민지국의 승려들이 함께 모여 학술행사를 벌였다는 특별한 성격이 있었음에도 불구하고 그간 이 법회에 대한 연구는 일체 없었다. 그런데 지금부터 10여 년전, 다솔사 및 해인사의 주지와 제헌 국회의원을 역임한 독립운동가인 최범술의 항일, 친일에 대한 문제가 대두되었다. 바로 그때, 최범술의 독립운동에 대한 정체성의 논란이 대두되었는데 이 법회의 성격이 그 논란의 초점이 되었다. 법회가 순수 학술행사이었다는 주장, 친일 성격의 행사이었다는 주장이 정면으로 대립하였던 것이다. 그래서 필자는 이 법회의 개요, 성격을 파악하기 위해 자료 수집을 하였다. 마침내 필자는 행사 직전, 다솔사에서 서울의 선학원으로 보낸 법회의 개요를 전한 공문을 최근에 입수하였다. 이런 배경하에서 본 고찰은 새롭게 발굴한 자료(공문)를 집중 분석한 글이다. 구체적인 서술은 기왕의 논란의 성격, 법회의 개요, 법회의 성격을 다루었다. 이 글의 내용을 통하여 독립운동가인 최범술, 동양사상가인 김범부의 성격이 더욱 조명되기를 기대한다. 그리고 일제하 경상남도 오지의 사찰인 다솔사에서 있었던 한일 불교문화 행사도 새롭게 인식되길 바란다.This review comprehensively covered the personality of for a week Buddhist memorial performs held in August 1939 at Dasolsa(다솔사 ; Sacheon in Gyeongnam). The Buddhist monks of both countries participated in the Buddhist memorial service. Despite the special character of the monks of the colonial countries and the colonies gathered together in the days of the colonial rule, there was no study of the Buddhist monk. However, about ten years ago, the issue of anti-Japanese and anti-prostitution of Choi Bumsul(최범술), an independence activist who served as prime minister of Dasolsa and Haeinsa and a member of the Constituent Assembly, emerged. At that very moment, the debate about identity of the independence movement of Choi Bumsul emerged, and the nature of this conference became the focus of controversy. The claim that the law was a pure academic event, and that it was an event of a pro-Japanese nature, was in direct opposition. So I collected the data to understand the outline and nature of this memorial. Finally, I recently obtained an official letter to the confer- ence session from Dasolsa to Seoul s Sahakwon(선학원) just before the event. Under these backgrounds, this review focuses on newly discovered data. The specific narrative covered the nature of the controversy, the outline of the memorial, and the nature of the memorial. I hope that the contents of this article will further illuminate the character of the independent activist Choi Bumsul and Kim Bumboo(김범부), a Dongyang-sa Temple merchant. And I hope that the cultural events of Korea - Japan Buddhism in Dasolsa, the temple of the corner in Gyeongsangnamdo under the Japanese colonial rule, will be newly recognized." @default.
