- W3148787684 abstract "Ti/Sb/SnO2 electrodes doped with Nd in different proportions were prepared by thermal decomposition method. The effect of Nd-doping amount on the electrocatalytic oxidation activity and stability of the electrode was examined. The surfaces of the prepared electrodes were characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscope and energy spectrometer. The electrochemical performance of the electrodes was measured by cyclic voltammetry, linear sweep voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The results showed that the Ti/Sb/SnO2-Nd layer doped with 1% Nd on electrode had better crystallinity. For this electrode, the volt-ampere charge increased to 8.93 mC/cm2, which was about twice that of Ti/Sb/SnO2 electrode. The oxygen evolution potential was increased from 2.07 V without Nd-doping to 2.30 V, and the service life was extended from 1000 h without Nd-doping to 1332 h, which was extended by more than 30%. The acid red 18 (AR 18) degradation efficiency of the Ti/Sb/SnO2-Nd electrode doped with 1% Nd after 1 h of electrolysis was 95.14%, which was 20.51% higher than that of the Ti/Sb/SnO2 electrode. The Ti/Sb/SnO2-Nd electrode doped with 1% Nd had high electrocatalytic oxidation activity and good stability." @default.
