- W3149087488 abstract "Objective: To establish a HPLC method for rapid determination of huperzine A content in Huperziaceae. Methods and Results: Total alkaloids of Huperziaceae were extracted by routine method and used directly for the HPLC analysis. The samples were subjected to chromatography on a Spherisob C 18 column and eluted with aqueous methanol (85%) at a flow rate of 1 ml/min. The huperzine A content was determined with a UV/Vis detector at 231 nm and calibrated using external standards. The linearity range of the method was 0.41～6.15 mg/L, the average recovery rate of huperzine A was determined to be 99.72%～100.09% and average RSD was between 0.33%～0.45%. Conclusion: A fast and sensitive specific HPLC assay for determination of huperzine A in Huperziaceae has been developed. [" @default.
