- W3149279974 abstract "This paper deals with the study on the catalytic gasification of sawdust mixed with catalysts with steam or air as reaction agents.The experiments were carried out in a fixed bed differential reactor in laboratory.The results indicate,with air as the agent,calcium oxide is the most suitable catalyst.For steam carbon reaction,composite catalysts,K 2CO 3,KOH, Na 2CO 3 and NaOH,could produce the best efficiency.The relation between reaction rate constant of catalytic gasification and temperature can be expressed by Arrhenius'law.The optimal load range of catalysts was determined.The reaction rate of catalytic gasification is two to fourteen times as fast as that of uncatalytic gasification when the temperature range is between 620～880 ℃.Moreover,the correlated equation of reaction rate,reaction temperature and catalysts load was obtained.The equation can be used to estimate reaction rate at given temperature and load.The average error of reaction rate between calculated and measured value is 4.38 %." @default.
