The dissertation will focus on how well the Aluminium Curtain Wall System helps the Architect in designing the buildings, types of curtain wall system and how curtain wall installation. Case studies are carried out to show the application of this system how to do installation on site and site preparation. Besides, which help the Architects create a new form to their buildings; bring a new dimension design to the Architects.This dissertation is categories into two parts; the initial part is more technically and basically is based on desk top study. The first part includes an introduction to different types of Aluminium Curtain Wall System are using in Malaysia industries. It gives a brief concept let the readers understanding this specialized trade. Besides, also discuss about skin facade using curtain wall system. Later focus on the adoption this system in Malaysian building industry, though the application or the used of this system as the skin of the buildings explain how this system create a freedom to the Architect in his designing. Besides, this dissertation also will discuss the factors that will affect its design and performance when selecting types of curtain wall system.The second part of this dissertation is more practically, majority of the information are gathered through case study or questionnaire feedback. In case study part, there are help me to prove how the aluminium curtain wall system installation and site preparation. By considered the advantages and problems on this system which it will partially help me to prove that why this system seems to be increasing in popularity. The following will be focus on the how using curtain wall system can maximize building floor area and future potential of this system in industries. After out research the result show that the degree of acceptance there are considered using unitized curtain wall system are most popularity in Malaysia industries nowadays. Besides, identify using curtain wall system can minimize total construction period, average installation price for different types of curtain wall and what types the maintenance and repair of the curtain wall system to maximize service life of curtain wall.As a conclusion, further development and improvement in the use of curtain wall systems is an ongoing process in Malaysia. The areas of improvement may be aiming at the development of more specific functioned, more reliable and long-life systems." @default.
