- W3159096898 abstract "A descriptive design was made, the aim was to evaluate a results of program opportunities of nutritional support with supplement. The study was carried out in a rural population, in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, the sample was 35 families with children with diagnosis of malnutrition of first and second grade, they were attend by Health Public System. The aims of this study were, to calculate the nutritional value through reminder 24 hours consumption interview, and related with diet, social and demographics dates and perinatal factors. The results show that a supplement is not consumed. The caloric deficit and protein deficit are 50% under requirements, meanwhile the deficit of micronutrients: iron, folic acid, calcium, and vitamins are over 70%. However, the carbohydrate consumption is exceeded (≈20%). The beginning of malnutrition was related with introduction of not milk food, about 6 months years old. The nutritional recovery not occurs, although the program is applied. Surprising the newborn weight was normal over 60% of cases. Considerations With this results the staff of this kinds of programs can reflecting about success or unsuccessful of nutritional programs. We recommended follow trough qualitative anthropologic research in nutrition." @default.
