- W3163732620 abstract "Fuzzy rule based PID controller and Ant Colony Optimization technique based PID controller is designed to control the concentration of the fermenter system. Over the past few years, the control of Fermenter has become significant due to their complex nonlinear nature. The conventional P+I+D controller tuning can result in severe process performance degradation, so that the conservative controller provides inadequate performance while controlling temperature and level control processes nonlinear dynamic behavior. Hence Ant Colony Optimization based PID controller is designed which is compared with Fuzzy rule based PID Controller to overcome the classical controller problems and provide better set-point tracking capability and improve the process's dynamic and stable performance. From the comparison with respect to the Error indices and Time domain specifications it is found that Ant Colony Optimization PID controller gives better result when compared to Fuzzy rule based PID controller." @default.
