- W3165164805 abstract "In this paper, compression-torsion experiments were used to study the hot deformation behavior of as-homogenized Mg-13Gd-4Y-2Zn-0.5Zr alloy at 350 °C under different equivalent strain rates. The results show that the Mg-13Gd-4Y-2Zn-0.5Zr alloy under different equivalent strain rates at 350 °C, the alloy is coordinated by the synergistic effects of multiple deformation mechanisms of lamellar long-period accumulation order (LPSO) phases kinking, dynamic recrystallization (DRX) and twinning. The degree of lamellar phase kinking and the equivalent strain rate show a positive correlation trend, while the DRX and the equivalent strain rate show a negative correlation trend. Under the condition of higher equivalent strain rate, some grains have their own hard orientation which causes the basal slip to be suppressed. At this time, they need to activate twinning to coordinate the deformation. The corresponding texture analysis shows that the activation of the lamellar LPSO phases kinking, DRX and twining will all weaken the basal texture." @default.
