• W3165443555 abstract "The extensive development of digital technologies and its penetration into everyday life determines the importance of the process of interaction between a person and a technically sophisticated device. This impacts the efficiency, comfort and often safety of the device for the user. The role of interaction between the device and the user is played by the interface, which is the object of this study. The aim of the study was to develop a methodology for assessing the quality of the user interface of smartwatches, based on the current standards in this area and taking into account the specifics of the assessed object. The nomenclature of the quality indicators of the graphical interface has been developed, the weighting factors of the indicators have been determined, and the assessment procedure based on the calculation of the complex quality indicator has been described. When creating the nomenclature, the authors were guided by the recommendations of the international standard ISO/IEC 9126 and the opinions of the specialists and users. The developed technique was tested in the assessment of prototypes of graphical interfaces of smartwatches. Its application allows for giving specific recommendations aimed at improving the product, to carry out a quality comparative assessment. The research results can have practical application in assessing the quality of graphical interfaces of smartwatches, both at the stage of the design and the finished product." @default.
