- W3169284865 abstract "Drought is one of the major disasters affecting wheat cultivation in northern China. Strigolactones (SLs, GR24) can regulate the growth and development of plants, but its application in wheat cultivation has yet to be further carried out. In this study, exogenous GR24 was sprayed on the leaves to study its influence on the growth and yield formation of wheat. It was found that, under drought conditions, exogenous SLs could enhance the activity of antioxidant enzymes in wheat, reduce membrane lipid peroxidation, increase the content of photosynthetic pigment, and thus increase the yield of wheat. In conclusion, the research provided a technical and theoretical support for its wide application in wheat cultivation and production." @default.
