Despite the importance of this crucial parameter, there is no method that is universally acceptable for its measurement, particularly for systems of low soluble gaseous solvents and bitumen. In this article, various experimental techniques developed for estimating the diffusivity of gaseous solvents in bitumen systems are critically reviewed, highlighting their strengths and weaknesses. The methodologies are divided into various categories, depending on their technique, test operating conditions, and the adopted technology. Despite the extensive research in the area of diffusivity estimation, further studies are required for developing more feasible, efficient, and reliable approaches." @default.
