La medicion de los valores de presion, temperatura y peso, necesarios se realizaron en una instalacion experimental. Para trazar el diagrama de Clapeyron representa el ciclo de refrigeracion por adsorcion se trabajo con temperatura de evaporacion de -2 oC y temperatura de la fuente caliente de 90 oC. Los resultados obtenidos con la zeolita modificada indicaron que permitia disponer de 8,3 g de metanol por cada kg de adsorbente. La comparacion de la capacidad adsortiva de metanol de las zeolitas investigadas con otros tipos de zeolitas internacionalmente comercializadas mostro que los valores de potencia de enfriamiento especifica por unidad de masa de adsorbente, estara por debajo de lo esperado. EnglishIn this work, the concentrations and quantities of methanol that adsorbed and desorbed natural zeolite and acid-bath modified zeolite, both from the Palmarito de Cauto deposit in Santiago de Cuba, were determined. This process allowed the determination of the best performance for an adsorption cooling system. The necessary pressure, temperature and weight values were measured in an experimental facility. To draw the Clapeyron diagram representing the adsorption refrigeration cycle, we worked with an evaporation temperature of -2 oC and a hot source temperature of 90 oC. The results obtained with the modified zeolite indicated that it allowed to have 8,3 g of methanol for each kg of adsorbent. Comparison of the methanol adsorptive capacity of the investigated zeolites with other types of internationally marketed zeolites showed that the specific cooling power values per unit mass of adsorbent will be lower than expected" @default.
