- W3173214801 abstract "Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT) is a kind of imaging technique by reconstructing conductivity distribution from boundary measurements. Since the time-referenced data of the measured field are not always available, which limits applications of the time-difference method, the frequency-difference method is adopted to solve the inverse problem of EIT. However, in the case of multiple backgrounds with different conductivity in the measured field, the reconstructed image using the conventional frequency-difference method will produce artifacts when backgrounds conductivity distributions change with frequency. Based on the weighted frequency-difference method, a multiple weighted frequency-difference method was proposed. By increasing the number of excitation frequencies, the influence of the frequency dependence of backgrounds conductivity on the boundary voltage vector is removed in turn and the inclusion can be detected more accurately. But considering that in some cases, the anomaly desired to be detected is not the inclusion, but an interested background surrounding the inclusion. In this paper, the method has been implemented to detect the inclusion and extended to image different backgrounds in the measured field, which expands the application of the frequency-difference method. Simulation and experiment results show that the multiple weighted frequency-difference method can effectively detect the inclusion, and the extended multiple weighted frequency-difference method also showed good results in detecting different backgrounds." @default.
