Meanwhile, to match the high-temperature service environment of the blade, the thermal exposure test and high-temperature fatigue test were also performed. The improvement in fatigue performance at room-temperature by SP + VF process was more than that by SP alone. After thermal exposure at 300 °C for 100 h, the high-temperature (300 °C) fatigue strength of the composite-treated sample remained 18.2% higher than that of the substrate. This is mainly because that SP + VF can induce lower surface roughness and remaining relatively stable gradient microstructure and compressive stress residual layer compared with SP." @default.
