- W3179668026 abstract "There have long been numerous efforts to achieve a realistic and practical integration of sustainability and resilience into the building designs from various perspectives in either academia or industry. Despite introducing several pathways in this regard, this integration tends to be interfered by the expert opinions and result in a subjective final solution. An example of such pathways is the criteria-based green rating systems. To overcome this challenge this integration can be structured in the form of an optimization problem to objectively spot a set of trade-offs among various sustainability and resilience aspects. These aspects should be in a quantitative form known as indicators. To this end, the present study aims at finding the most-suited indicators each can justify some sustainability and resilience aspects through a comprehensive systematic literature review framework. The main focus of this study is on the building energy domain according to its vital role in global energy consumption to help to reach a design that is not only energy-optimized but also sustainable and resilient. Therefore, all found indicators in this study are directly tied to the building energy domain. The findings of this study can help designers to select the desired sustainability and resilience indicators from the resulting list ready to be applied in an optimization structure to achieve an objective integration of sustainability and resilience into the building energy domain." @default.
