- W3189170410 abstract "In this work, the nano-structured diatomite (DIA) was first incorporated into poly (3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) thin film, and developed as a light-trapping layer in polymeric photodetector. DIAs are ubiquitous in nature and adaptive evolution has given them the ability to adsorb or light trapping. As a natural, inexpensive silica material, diatomite can act as a light scatterer in the active layer. Compared with the P3HT device, the average photocurrent increased up to 100 % after the incorporation of DIA, which benefits from its light trapping characteristics. As a result, the DIA photodetector has a significantly improved photo-response ability, with a higher responsivity (R) (average increase up to 112 %) and detectivity (D*) (average increase up to 139 %). Moreover, linear dynamic range (LDR) of the device also improved, the response under different light conditions is increased by 15.3 %." @default.
