- W3195725889 abstract "Research Aim: The aim of this study to investigate the effects of 8 weeks aerobic training and intermittent hypoxia on expression angiogenic factors in cardiac male wistar rats.Research method:In the current experimental study, forty male Wistar rats weighing 220±20 gr were randomly divided into four groups; normal control (NC), hypoxia (H), Hypoxia+ training(HT) and training groups. Hypoxia group exposed to chronic intermittent and Isobaric hypoxia (total pressure PiO2≈760 mmHg, 14% oxygen for 8 weeks). And exercise group ran on a treadmill (22-26 meter per min) for 8weeks, 5 session/ week with. (HT)Group, after exercise, during the day were similar to hypoxia in the hypoxic chamber. Then, relative protein density of PGC-1α, VEGFA, P-AMPK and ERRα were measured with western blot method.Findings: The result showed that intermittent hypoxia, exercise training+ hypoxia and exercise training significantly increased relative protein density of PGC-1a, ERRa, VEGFA and P-AMPK compared to control group (p≤0.001). The expression of PGC-1α was significant among the intervention groups between the T group and the H group (P = 0.017). However, there was no significant difference between the T group and combination of the T + H groups (P = 0.16) and the H group compared with the T + H groups (P = 0.055). Conversely, significant increases relative protein density of P-AMPK in the Tgroup and the T+ H groups compared with the H group (p≤0.001) and between the Tgroup with the H group (P = 0.028). But was not found significantly different between the H group and the T + H groups (P = 0.055). Also, the expression of the (ERRα) protein was not significantly different between the T and the H groups (P = 0.269) and the T group with the T + H groups (P = 0.057) and the H group with the combination of the T + H groups (P = 0.069). However, significant increased relative protein density of VEGFA in the H group compared to the T+ H groups (p≤0.001). Conclusion: Although hypoxia was an effective stimulator to induce the expression of PGC-1α and VEGFA and aerobic exercise was a potent phosphorylation inducer of AMPK, their combination did not have a synergistic effect. However, according to a few studies conducted in this area, more research is needed To determine the exact mechanisms of downstream and upstream pathways." @default.
