- W3199081625 abstract "High-intensity interval training is effective in the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases, with short exercise time, good exercise compliance and easy to adhere to the characteristics. Accumulated exercise is beneficial to break the sedentary lifestyle. High-intensity interval training and accumulated exercise have attracted more and more attention in the field of health promotion, but the mechanism of their effects on skeletal muscle in rats is still unclear. In this study, high-intensity interval training and accumulated exercise intervention were conducted in rats to observe the changes of skeletal muscle protein expression in resting state after the two methods of exercise, and bioinformatics analysis was conducted. The results of this study show that both high-intensity interval training and accumulated exercise are capable of up-regulating the expression of skeletal muscle protein and enhancing the mitochondrial functions of the skeletal muscle in spite of their different modes of exercise. High-intensity interval training exhibited superiority over accumulated exercise in the up-regulation of skeletal muscle protein expression and the enhancement of mitochondrial functions, which might be closely related to parameters like exercise mode and intensity." @default.
