- W3201414910 abstract "Localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) of Ag nanoparticles (AgNPs) causes absorbance in the visible light range, and thus lowers the transmittance of Dielectric-Ag-dielectric (DAD) thin films. In this paper, the LSPR of AgNPs was successfully damped by tuning the deposition rate of the Ag layer and by adding a thin Cu layer. A transmittance spectrum as straight as a line paralleling to the x-axis with transmittance of 92.5% ± 0.5% in 440–800 nm and sheet resistance of 6.2Ω/□ were achieved. The electrode is highly stable in air. The mechanism of the improved optical electrical properties was explored via studying the initial growth of the thin films by transmission electron microscopy and was attributed to the reduced aspect ratio of the nanoparticles." @default.
