- W3201607560 abstract "As could computing has been evolved and brings together the advantages and challenges. Over the past few years, it always a hot topic being care not only by the researcher but also the huge information technology (IT) company with lots of cloud computing products and articles. Even though, some governments also have started their initiative steps to cloud computing. Cloud computing is still developed and perfected even if it has pros and cons, leading the fact that the enterprises will utilize at least one solution from the cloud for their information system in the near future. Hence, the need for a full understanding and clear plan to adopt cloud computing for the enterprises is not small and pretty urgent. This paper aims to build a framework for cloud computing adoption strategy of the companies as a support to their effort of integration process to the cloud. The SWOT-AHP (Strength-Weakness-Opportunity-Threat-Analytic Hierarchy Process) techniques have been used to analyze the strengths, opportunities, weaknesses, and threats of the cloud in implementing it and create an efficient model for the cloud computing strategic plan of the company. By leveraging two well-known and ease of use methods –SWOT and AHP, the practitioners may have no difficult problems to apply the framework. The works of this research may be interesting and helpful to the CIOs (Chief Information Officers) who see the cloud computing as their concern and also the must-to-face issue sooner or later." @default.
