Selain itu, tugas akhir ini akan membahas perkembangan channel tersebut dengan cara menganalisa grafik dari podcast-podcast yang dihasilkan. Metode dalam pengumpulan data antara lain adalah dengan menjadi partisipan langsung melalui program magang dari 23 Maret hingga 22 Mei 2020 di program studi Bahasa Inggris Sekolah Vokasi Universitas Gadjah Mada. Wawancara secara online dilakukan dengan cara mewawancarai dosen pengelola channel podcast dan beberapa kreator podcast dalam channel tersebut. Selain itu penulis juga membaca jurnal elektronik dan beberapa artikel yang ada di internet dan mendengarkan podcast sebagai studi pustaka. Data yang telah didapatkan dikelompokkan sesuai objektif dan disajikan secara deskriptif dan detail dengan menggunakan Bahasa Inggris dan didukung oleh gambar, struktur organisasi dan grafik yang disematkan di beberapa bagian. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses produksi podcast di channel podcast Sarjana Terapan Bahasa Inggris SV UGM terdiri atas beberapa langkah, yaitu idea brainstorming, pengumpulan data, perekaman, pengeditan, pembuatan artwork dan pengunggahan. Kesulitan yang dialami oleh kreator podcast dalam pembuatan podcast di channel ini adalah sinyal yang tidak stabil, gangguan suara saat perekaman, suara yang tidak jelas, dan kesulitan dalam mencari alumni sebagai informan dalam podcast. Perbedaan podcast dalam channel ini dijelaskan dan dibagi menjadi two sub-bab yaitu tipe podcast dan aplikasi yang digunakan dalam memproduksi podcast. Dalam channel ini terdapat dua tipe podcast yaitu podcast monolog dan dialog. Grafik pemutaran podcast menunjukkan bahwa podcast yang ada di channel ini telah diputar sebanyak 175 kali dengan audience mayoritas wanita, berkewarganegaraan Indonesia, dan berusia 18-22 tahun.This final paper aims to discuss podcast production in Bachelor of Applied English SV UGM podcast channel that later will be used as media campaign to disseminate information. Moreover, this final paper will also discuss about the development of the channel by analyzing the graphics from the podcasts produced. The methods of collecting the data include participant observation and online interview. Participant observation was done through internship program from 23 March until 22 May 2020 at English study program Sekolah Vokasi Universitas Gadjah Mada. The online interviews were done by interviewing a lecturer who manages the podcast channel and some podcasters in the channel. Moreover, the writer also read some e-journal and articles from the internet and listened to podcast as library study. The data obtained were grouped based on the objectives and presented descriptively and detailed in English and supported with figures, organizational structures, and charts in some parts. The findings show that the podcast production in Bachelor of Applied English SV UGM podcast channel consist of some steps, start from idea brainstorming, collecting the data, recording, editing, artwork creation and uploading. Difficulties faced by creators in producing the podcasts in the channel are signal unstable, interference in recording, unclear voice, and searching the alumni to be an interviewee. The podcast differences in the channel explained and divided into two sub-chapters, there are types of podcast and the application used to producting the podcast. In this channel there are two types, there are podcast monologue and podcast dialogue. Moreover, the graphics show that podcasts in this podcast channel have played 175 times with the audiences mostly female, Indonesian, and 18-22 years old." @default.
