- W3204336422 abstract "The procedure employed the presentation of a novel stimulus (NS) between classical conditioning trials. Psychological data were obtained from a paper and pencil questionnaire administered after the conditioning session. In order to obtain accurate component measurement for the waveform analysis, small SCRs were excluded, leaving a reduced sample of subjects for observation. This conclusion was reinforced by two other results: The onset latency interaction, which suggested the presence of a common mechanism that was responsible for the dependency between the language and nonlanguage stimulus factors, and the significant correlation between the onset latency and questionnaire data, which suggested the presence of a common mechanism that was responsible for the dependency between the OR-latency and NS-thinking responses. Whether or not other measures of human orienting will confirm the powerful influence of language stimuli on the OR remains a question for further research." @default.
