- W3204668093 abstract "Synthetic organic molecules are mostly used as metal corrosion inhibitors, mainly due to their water solubility, effectiveness at low concentration, low-cost, and high inhibition properties, but due to awareness of public health and environment, the use of such organic inhibitors raises questions of their toxic nature and the multiple approaches in their formation. This has led to an increase in the demand for such corrosion inhibitors that can be cost-effective, less toxic, and easily synthesized. In this context, scientists started working on sustainable green corrosion inhibitors over the last decades and the results have been very good. In addition to experimental techniques, theoretical calculations and surface morphological approaches are extensively applied to determine the potential nature of these green corrosion inhibitors, which can describe the interaction and adsorption mechanism between the inhibitors and the metal surface. The present work depicts the analysis of recent research papers published on synthetic green corrosion inhibitors." @default.
