Pendugaan debit limpasan dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode, salah satunya adalah metode rasional. Metode rasional adalah rumus perhitungan debit paling tua dengan parameter yang dibutuhkan yaitu koefisien limpasan (C), Intensitas Hujan (I), dan luas lahan (A). Penentuan intensitas hujan membutuhkan waktu konsentrasi dimana waktu konsentrasi merupakan waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk perjalanan air hujan dari titik terjauh ke titik yang ingin ditinjau. Penentuan waktu konsentrasi sangat mempengaruhi hasil debit limpasan, sehingga ketepatan nilai waktu konsentrasi sangat penting. Debit limpasan diamati pada lahan perkebunan kurma di dalam plot uji dengan ukuran panjang 22 m dan lebar 4 m pada kemiringan lahan 25% dengan jarak tanam pohon kurma 8m x 8m. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa waktu konsentrasi tepat terhadap pendugaan limpasan permukaan, dapat dilihat dari hasil waktu konsentrasi model Manning’s menggunakan metode rasional menghasilkan nilai koefisien korelasi (r) dan nilai determinasi (R²) yang akurat. Nilai korelasi (r) yang didapatkan 0,9901 sehingga dari hasil tersebut termasuk kedalam tingkat hubungan yang sangat kuat antara pengukuran limpasan secara aktual dengan pendugaan limpasan secara prediksi, dan nilai determinasi (R²) 0,9804 sehingga dari hasil tersebut menyatakan bahwa prediksi metode ini termasuk ke dalam prediksi yang sangat baik.Manning's Model Concentration Time Accuracy in Estimating Surface Runoff Based on Rational Method Abstract. The analysis of surface runoff is one of the most important parts in planning the design and selection of the best erosion control building. Estimation of runoff discharge can be done by using methods, one of which is the rational method. The rational method is the oldest discharge calculation formula with the required parameters, namely runoff coefficient (C), Rain Intensity (I), and land area (A). Determination of rain intensity requires concentration time where concentration time is the time required for rainwater to travel from the farthest point to the point you want to review. Determination of the time of concentration greatly affects the results of runoff, so the accuracy of the time value of concentration is very important. The runoff discharge was observed on the date palm plantations in the test plot with a length of 22 m and a width of 4 m on a land slope of 25% with a date palm tree spacing of 8 m x 8 m. The results showed that the exact concentration time for the estimation of surface runoff, can be seen from the results of the Manning's model concentration time using the rational method to produce an accurate correlation coefficient (r) and determination value (R²). The correlation value (r) obtained is 0.9901 so that from these results it is included in the level of a very strong relationship between the actual runoff measurement and the predicted runoff estimate, and the determination value (R²) is 0.9804 so that the results state that the prediction of this method included in very good predictions." @default.
