Organizational restructuring harmonizes skill sets with business needs in order to meet the overall mission of the company and achieve high performance levels. This however affects employees as a result. The objective of this study was to establish the effects of restructuring of operations and systems on job satisfaction in Oserian development Company in Naivasha, Kenya. The study was guided by the following theories; Job Characteristics Model Theory, Maslow’s Five-Level Hierarchy and the Motivator-Hygiene Theory. The target population was 6000 employees drawn from all aspects of job levels. A sample size of 99 employees was used. The study used a pre-tested structured self-administered questionnaire. Data was analysed using descriptive statistics such as frequencies and percentages. Regression analysis placed restructuring of operations (β = 0.380; p value = 0.001) as the most influencer of job satisfaction followed by systems restructuring (β = 0.211; p value = 0.210). The study thus recomended that the industry players should consider running operation restructuring concurrently with systems restructuring to save on time and resources." @default.
