The inhibition efficiency increased with the extract concentration, acid concentration, as well as increasing the temperature. The Polarization studies revealed that the ART act as a mixed-type inhibitor. Based on the analysis of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, an equivalent circuit is suggested. The adsorption of the inhibitor ART on the copper surface obeyed the Langmuir adsorption isotherm. From the results of scanning electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy the adsorption of ART on the copper surface is confirmed." @default.
