- W3207352247 abstract "The development of high tech approaches for clinical monitoring, diagnostics and treatment requires implication of contemporary biometric methods comparing the data obtained by measurement of hemodynamic parameters. In previous publications we suggested the experimental approach for assessment of cardiac output and systemic arterial pressure using experimental data obtained via measurements of the pulse waveform in peripheral arteries under steady-state and transitive conditions. A methodological basis for two approaches in estimation of left ventricular stroke volume in humans are presented: «classic» according to Teichholz ultrasonic echocardiography and «experimental» according to reconstruction via transfer functions created by means of computer Fourier waveform analysis of the peripheral pulse curves obtained using Penaz volume-clump method. Checking and analysis of differences in data obtained with both approaches was provided biometrically according to the following protocol: checking of availability of significant differences in the results of both techniques; calculation and analysis of 95% confidence intervals for differences between mean values; estimation of Spearman's rank correlation; linear regression analysis; Bland-Altman analysis; estimation of the mean measurement error. The values obtained via both methods revealed no significant differences according to two different statistical algorithms. The results of the research confirm the possibility for implication of volume-clump method in non-invasive monitoring of the cardiac output." @default.
