- W3208029569 abstract "A novel ultra-compact temperature sensor based on the Mach-Zehnder interferometer with an anti-resonant hollow core fiber is proposed and investigated theoretically and experimentally. The anti-resonant hollow core fiber is utilized for sensing arms of the interferometer in an innovative way to achieve high temperature precision and a positional resolution of millimeter-scale with long-term stability. The transmitted spectrum of the proposed sensor exhibits a temperature sensitivity of 58.5 pm/°C. Given the spectral resolution of 0.02 nm, the temperature resolution of the sensor can be estimated as ∼0.4 °C. It is experimentally demonstrated that the sensor has performed a good stability up to 6 h. It could be anticipated a candidate for in-situ fine temperature measurements such as chemical reaction monitoring, bioactivity control etc." @default.
