- W3208230963 abstract "In this paper a present results of the model study of the technological production defects influence on response function of shaft run-out sensor for generator fault diagnosis system. The sensor is design for use for measurement control parameters of shaft run-out of powerful generators. One of the most important stages in the design of sensors before their implementation is to take into account the factors that can lead to the appearance of errors in the measurement of control parameters. These factors are technological production defects. To take into account technological production defects, models were implemented that made it possible to assess the character of the effect of defects on the sensor response function. The resulting family of response functions of the shaft run-out sensor made it possible to evaluate the influence of factors such as changes in the inter-electrode gap, electrode thickness, and dielectric substrate thickness. Studies on computer models in the future allows taking into account and making more accurate sensors, implementing the optimal design and choosing the optimal manufacturing technology for the sensor and the permissible error in determining the value of the shaft run-out parameters." @default.
