• W3208548972 abstract "English abstract: This paper focuses on the features of hard and soft skills’ formation and development of future translators and international relations’ students through their active participation in voluntary activities when organizing and providing language assistance for foreign guests at various international events and participating as volunteers performing translation tasks. The authors conducted a review and analysis of the sources and regulations on the topic and determined that voluntary activity allows translation students to get an accurate idea of the future professional activities, as well as contributes to the formation, development and consolidation of practical hard and supra-professional skills necessary for their future career. A survey of students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages of Samara State University of Social Sciences and Education and students of the School of International Relations of MGIMO University allowed us to identify some weak points in the aspect of hard and soft skills that future translators and translation teachers will have to work on. Based on the data received during the survey in the organization of translation volunteer activities of students, methodological recommendations for the formation and development of students' hard and soft skills of the universities mentioned above were formulated. Russian abstract: Настоящая статья посвящена исследованию особенностей формирования и развития профессиональных и надпрофессиональных навыков будущих переводчиков и студентов-международников посредством их активного участия в доб-ровольческой деятельности при организации языкового сопровождения иностранных гостей на различных мероприятиях международного уровня и участия в широком спектре мероприятий в качестве волонтеров, осуществляющих переводческие функции. Авторы провели обзор и анализ научной литературы и нормативных актов по теме исследования и определили, что добровольческая деятельность позволяет будущему специалисту в области перевода получить реальное представление о будущей профессии, а также способствует формированию, развитию и закреплению практических профессиональных и надпрофессиональных навыков, необходимых для будущей карьеры. Опрос студентов фа-культета иностранных языков ФГБОУ ВО “Самарский государственный социально-педагогический университет” (СГСПУ) и обучающихся факультета междунардных отношений МГИМО МИД России позволил определить некоторые слабые стороны в аспекте профессиональных и надпрофессиональных навыков, над которыми предстоит работать будущим переводчикам и преподавателям перевода. На основе выявленных в ходе опроса слабых сторон при организации переводческой добровольческой деятельности студентов были сформулированы методические рекомендации по формированию и развитию профессиональных и надпрофессиональных навыков у студентов факультета иностранных языков СГСПУ и факультета международных отношений МГИМО МИД России." @default.
