The National College of Anaesthesia and Critical Care Teachers (CNEAR) brings together the 181 university-affiliated physicians involved in teaching and research in anaesthesia, critical care, and perioperative medicine. The CNEAR goals for the anaesthesia critical care & perioperative medicine specialty are primarily educational for the students issued from the third and second cycle of medical studies. The CNEAR thus intervenes in the organization, evaluation, and validation of postgraduate teaching of medical specialties. It publishes an up-to-date knowledge repository for graduate medical students. Thanks to a strong partnership with the Digital University in Health and Sport (UNESS), the CNEAR ensures the online delivery of educational content on the SIDES NG platform, the implementation of the resident e-booklet and regular monitoring of the residents’ curriculum. The members of the CNEAR also participate in the representation of the discipline to the public authorities and guardianship within the National Professional Council of Anaesthesia Critical Care and Peri-Operative Medicine (CNP-ARMPO). To achieve these goals, the CNEAR works in close collaboration with subsection 48-01 (Anaesthesia Critical Care and Perioperative Medicine) of the National Council of Universities and the French Society for Anaesthesia and Critical Care (SFAR). The CNEAR is also an ex officio member of the CNP-ARMPO and the National Coordination of Colleges of Teachers in Medicine (CNCEM) and extends its international collaborations through a promising partnership with UNESS-International." @default.
